Meet Your Driver
“Homie” – Best-selling author Shea Serrano
Over two decades, I’ve worked in just about every creative role. I’ve scaled community through creative storytelling and strategic leadership at Big Cartel, supporting $2.5B+ in artist sales worldwide. I’ve set standards at Apple as a pilot team member for a customer-education role during the early years of the iPhone and iPad, navigating product launches under Steve Jobs.
I’ve also led teams at startups, launched one of the first YouTube channels in pro sports, and have had my writing published by The Atlantic, USA Today, Headspace, and other global publications. I also learned the hard way that a relentless pace leads to burnout, which later revealed undiagnosed autism and ADHD.
Along the way, I lost over 100 pounds, produced films, and raised 3 kids with my high school sweetheart.
And I’ve realized my driver in business is prioritizing creative people, peace + profit, in that order, while developing a great eye for potholes to avoid.
Creative Taxi Ltd. was born from this journey, plus 5 years of research on the future of work, and certifications in leadership development (Small Giants Leadership Academy) and Foundations of Career Navigating and Coaching (Goodwill) to build what’s next.
Creative Taxi contributes a portion of all proceeds to Boardman Arts Park, an all ages, volunteer-led 501(c)(3) park located in Delaware, Ohio, dedicated to building community through art and creativity. 🌈⛽
