Creative Taxi Is a Brave Space

At Creative Taxi, one of our core principles is to co-create the map with our collaborators. To do that, we start with facilitating brave spaces.

This practice, inspired by change management experts at MMG Earth and an untitled poem by Beth Strano, later expanded on by Micky ScottBey Jones, acknowledges reality: no space can ever be guaranteed as "safe." But we can promise a space where bravery is honored.

This is a foundational element of our work: to create spaces that are psychologically safe, trusted, and allow you to show up as your honest self. From there, we can provide the creative fuel to push boundaries, and be fully seen in your best work.

Whether in creative collaborations, coaching, partnerships, or events, we always strive to do what we can to ensure all voices wishing to speak are heard and valued.

An Invitation to Brave Space

By Micky ScottBey Jones, inspired by Beth Strano

Together we will create brave space

Because there is no such thing as a “safe space” —

We exist in the real world

We all carry scars and we have all caused wounds.

In this space

We seek to turn down the volume of the outside world.

We amplify voices that fight to be heard elsewhere,

We call each other to more truth and love

We have the right to start somewhere and continue to grow.

We have the responsibility to examine what we think we know.

We will not be perfect.

It will not always be what we wish it to be

But

It will be our brave space together,

And

We will work on it side by side.
